Soror Horton has been a proud member of the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated since November 2013 by way of Sigma Eta Zeta chapter where she has been well trained to take on leadership roles since day one!  During these years, her training included working as a member on the following committees: Hospitality, Membership, Bylaws, Zeta Youth Auxiliaries, Zeta Amicae, R.O.O.T.S. Celebration, Sisterhood Retreat, Scholarship, ZHOPE, and she's obtained annual certifications to work with new members, undergraduates, Zeta Youth Auxiliaries, and Zeta Amicae.  These various trainings, certifications, and professional coaching has helped position her to serve as Phylacter, Chair of the Nominations & Elections Committee, Chair of the Retreat Committee, Zeta Amicae Coordinator, and more recently on the National Investigation Team and as chapter Basileus. 

 

When she's not doing the work of Zeta, Soror Horton enjoys spending quality time with her husband, playing with her dog, traveling, eating tacos and watching action movies.

Soror Perry has been an active member for over 23 consecutive years.  During which time she has served our sisterhood on the National, Regional, State and local levels bringing her innovative ideas and stellar programming to grow and strengthen the organization and auxiliaries.  She is an alumnus of California State University, Dominguez Hills; serves on the March of Dimes Greater Los Angeles Emerging Leaders Board; a chartering member of Sigma Eta Zeta chapter and a life member of the sorority.  Her professional and educational journey has developed her as an entrepreneur, licensed Realtor®, strategic planner, life coach/trainer, and she’s currently pursuing a Masters degree in Leadership & Management with a concentration in Nonprofit Management at the University of La Verne.

In her spare time, she enjoys quaint gatherings, tea parties, puzzling, traveling, and spending time with her three children and husband of 25 years.

Soror Ebony Hallman ~ 2nd Vice President & Pearlette Advisor

Soror Hallman was initiated into Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. in Spring 2011 through Delta Eta chapter California State University, Long Beach.  She holds a BS degree in Family Life Education (concentration in Child and Family Studies), a BA in Africana Studies and a Masters in Family and Consumer Science.

Soror Hallman has served Zeta Phi Beta Sorority in several lead positions which include:  President (undergraduate chapter), 2nd Vice President, 3rd Vice President, Pacific Regional Coordinator of the Zeta Male Network, Chief of Staff to the National 2nd Vice President.  Her service also includes various committees such as Retreat Committee Chair, Pearlette Advisor, ZHOPE, Community Outreach, and Nominations & Elections.

 

She is employed as an Adjunct Instructor and a Job Coach/ Developer for adults with intellectual disabilities in the west Los Angeles area.  She is the proud mother of one daughter (future Zeta).

Soror Ashley Stanton ~ 3rd Vice President

Soror Stanton was initiated into Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. in Fall 2005 through Delta Eta chapter at California State University, Long Beach. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, a Master’s in Public Administration with an option in Urban Affairs, and a certificate in Employee and Employer Management.

​Soror Stanton has held various leadership positions in college, the community, and within our sorority which includes: Senator-at-Large of Associated Students, Inc. (2 yrs); University Student Union Board of Trustees; President (undergraduate chapter), 3rd Vice President, and Pacific Region Undergraduate Representative and has served in various capacities on the local, state, regional and national levels.

 

​She has been employed with the Los Angeles County Probation for 11 years as a Detention Services Officer and is currently he Lead BMP Coordinator where she is responsible for organizing events and working closely with community-based organizations.
