"If you think education is expensive; try ignorance"

When I was in high school my pastor would share this phrase quite often when speaking about the importance of education. I heard him say it so much that I thought HE was the one who coined the phrase. But he didn't. He spoke these words so profoundly because he truly believed them; so much so that I took the phrase to heart and 30+ years later, I still echo them to my children.

I know what education costs...but I also believe it what it does. The cost of feeding knowledge into our brain, life, being...will definitely leave us on the greener side of the pasture, compared to what it would cost us to be ignorant in this society.

It's late...I'll write more tomorrow :)
