Soror Yvette Davis became a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. in the Fall of 2020 through the Sigma Eta Zeta chapter in Long Beach. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Biola University and a Master’s Degree in Social Work and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She has worked in the social service field for over 15 years and currently supports treatment providers with teaming opportunities and incorporating best practice strategies while working with youth and families in the child welfare system. She has always had a passion for morale building in the work environment, strengthening networks and connecting the less fortunate to resources.
She takes to heart the finer sisterhood and community service principles of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated. Soror Davis has served as a member of the Hospitality Committee and Sisterhood Retreat and has supported community service events sponsored by the Sigma Eta Zeta chapter, other local chapters and Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc. She is thrilled to serve in the position of Hospitality Chair and ready to grow in leadership, while enhancing and acquiring new skills.

In her free time she enjoys giving, sharing, socializing with family and friends, traveling and experiencing new getaways towards fulfilling her personal mantra of living life to its fullest; given her health challenges she truly believes it’s important to “Carpe Diem” meaning “Seize the Moment”, as she knows tomorrow is not promised, you only live once, and there are no do-overs.
