How to Become a Member of the Zeta Youth Groups

Membership in the Zeta Youth Groups is open to young girls whose parents express an interest in having them actively involved and connected with our sorority through a local Zeta graduate chapter.

Pearlettes (ages 4-8): A youth group of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. that offers elementary children (ages 4-8) the opportunity to engage in age-appropriate activities; improve and develop attributes and characteristics of Finer Womanhood and Service; acquire the fundamental appreciation for Scholarship and Sisterhood and to build strong, lasting relations with positive Zeta role models.

The Beach Cities Pearlettes were chartered on October 4, 2004, under the sponsorship of Sigma Eta Zeta chapter (Long Beach Graduates). Our members are an energetic, friendly, and fun group of young girls. They have a broad range of interests, talents, and personalities and they desire to emulate the ideals of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. through service and friendship.

Zeta Amicettes (ages 9-13): A youth group of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. that supports the cultural, social, leadership and educational growth of 9 to 13-year-old elementary and middle school girls through hands-on participation in local community projects, self-improvement activities and promote civic and cultural growth within the community.

The Beach Cities Zeta Amicettes were chartered on September 11, 2006, under the sponsorship of Sigma Eta Zeta chapter (Long Beach, CA). Our members are trendsetters, responsible, fun, and a friendly group of young girls with a broad range of backgrounds, interests, and abilities. The auxiliary provides young girls with the opportunity to engage in age-appropriate activities with like-minded peers; participate in individual and group development; learn personal and people skills; gain confidence through leadership presentations; build self-confidence; express themselves through social and community service activities, and discover the essence of sisterhood.

Zeta Amicettes (ages 14-18): The purpose of the Zeta Archonettes is to support the cultural, social, leadership and educational growth of a talented group of 14 to 18-year-old young ladies through hands-on participation in self-improvement activities, community service projects, charm clinics, debutante cotillions, assisting with operating the Stork’s Nests and serving wherever teenagers are needed to facilitate the programs of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.

The Beach Cities Zeta Archonettes were chartered on October 30, 2006, under the sponsorship of Sigma Eta Zeta chapter (Long Beach Alumnae). Our members are an intelligent, vibrant, energetic, sisterly, and talented group of young ladies. They have a broad range of backgrounds, interests, experiences, and abilities and represent various schools and communities within Los Angeles County. They strive to uphold the founding principles of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. as young ladies under the direction and guidance of Zeta members.
