President (State of CA) & Member-at-Large Rep. (Pacific Region)

Renee is a native of California.  She learned early how to discover a need and find a solution, how to transform “ambition into action,” and how to give back more than you receive.  Giving back has always been Renee's mission. She has worked for private, city and non-profit organizations with experience as Asst. Director of Programs, Site Supervisor, and in Accounting.  She received formal education in Early Childhood Education and Sociology and has worked with mentally disabled adults, homeless children and financial systems.  With her passion for people, education, and keen work acumen, Renee took a leap of faith and is the owner of her own childcare center.  She now has the creative freedom to teach young minds through art and play.

Renee plays an active role in her community by serving on the board for homeless children, advocating for women and children, and supporting programs that benefit youth. For Renee, this is yet another way to give back to her community and make a difference.

Her heart and commitment to serving others lead her to seek an organization whose mission of dedication and services with hands on involvement in the community.  In fall of 2014, Renee jumped at the chance to become a member of the Zeta Amicae of Long Beach.  Being a part of this auxiliary has afforded her the opportunity to play a more active and extended role in her community.

Her biggest accomplishment is being a loving and supportive mother to her only daughter.
